Wrightwood Bespoke Carpentry designs, manufactures and installs fitted wardrobes for homeowners across Essex. Whether you need a full wall of built-in storage for a master bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe for a larger room, or a compact solution for a spare bedroom, every wardrobe we build is made to measure for your exact space.
We offer sliding door wardrobes, hinged door wardrobes and open wardrobe systems. The internal layout is completely customisable, including shelving heights, hanging rails, drawer units, shoe racks and pull-out accessories.
The design process
Every wardrobe project begins with a home visit. We measure the room, discuss what you need the wardrobe to hold and talk through your style preferences. From that visit, we produce a full CAD drawing showing the wardrobe in your room, complete with dimensions and internal layout. You see exactly what the finished piece will look like before any materials are ordered. If anything needs adjusting, we refine the drawing until you are completely happy.
Materials and quality
We work with a range of materials depending on the finish you want. Options include solid hardwoods, veneered MDF, melamine-faced board for clean modern interiors, and spray-painted finishes in any colour. Hardware is sourced from quality suppliers, from soft-close hinges to heavy-duty sliding mechanisms. The result is a wardrobe that looks good and works well for years.
Why bespoke over off-the-shelf
Flat-pack and catalogue wardrobes are designed around standard room sizes and standard storage needs. Most bedrooms are not standard. Period cottages have alcoves and sloping ceilings. Newer builds have oddly placed windows or radiators. A bespoke wardrobe uses every centimetre of available space, fits around architectural features and gives you storage that actually matches how you live.
